Use the first substitute of the same asset type as the negative starter.

Remove the negative starter's points and add the substitute's full weekly points.

If Sub 1 is not the same asset type, the system checks the next substitute.

Weekly limit
No more than three automatic substitutions can happen in one market week.

No valid option
If no substitute of the same asset type is available, the negative starter remains in the team.

Fairness note
Automatic substitutions only replace a negative asset with the same asset type. This keeps all formations fair and consistent for every manager.
Important
If you choose a 5-3-2 formation, all five stock assets are in your starting 11. This means you have no stock substitute on the bench. If one of those stocks finishes below 0%, it stays in your team. This is why your formation choice matters.
