HOW TO CHECK A SCORE ON YAHOO FINANCE

  1. 1Search for the asset on Yahoo Finance.
  2. 2Select “Historical Data”.
  3. 3Set the frequency to “Daily”.
  4. 4Find the Monday row and use the value in the “Open” column.

Weekly score =

((Friday Close − Monday Open) ÷ Monday Open) × 100

Monday Open: 100.00

Friday Close: 105.00

Weekly score: +5.00 points

Each asset score is capped at a maximum of +15.00 points and a minimum of −15.00 points.

Scoring rules

Points = Weekly % Change

  • Example: +2.35% = +2.35 points
  • Example: -1.42% = -1.42 points
  • Example: 0.00% = 0.00 points

Captain multiplier

  • Your captain's points are doubled.
  • All other assets count normally.

Points limits (for a fair game)

The most you can score in a market week is

+15 points

The most you can lose in a market week is

-15 points

These limits keep the game fair and prevent extreme market moves from disrupting the league.
